Lutz Schloegl

Mr. Schloegl is an executive vice president and quantitative research analyst in the portfolio implementation group in the Newport Beach office. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2012, he was co-head of desk strategy for Latin American growth markets at Goldman Sachs. Previously, he held senior positions in fixed income analytics at Nomura and Lehman Brothers in London. He has 22 years of investment experience and holds a Ph.D. in financial economics from the University of Bonn in Germany, from which he also received a master’s degree in mathematics.
